Paleo & Vegan Peppermint Patties

These are a delicious paleo & vegan homemade version of the classic York peppermint patties!

For the Chocolate Coating:

  • 2 vegan chocolate bars
  • ½ teaspoon coconut oil

For the Peppermint Filling:

  • ¼ cup coconut butter softened
  • tsp peppermint extract
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 1 tablespoon monk fruit sweetener
  • 2 tablespoon coconut cream the thick part from a can of coconut milk!


  • Melt the chocolate and coconut oil ingredients together. Fill 12 silicone cupcake liners or regular cupcake liners with about 1 teaspoon of chocolate each and spread up the sides a bit. Place in freezer while you make the peppermint filling.
  • Mix together the peppermint filling ingredients and add about 2 teaspoon of filling to the frozen chocolate cups. Cover and fill the rest of the cups with the rest of the chocolate. Let harden and enjoy!


Store in the fridge or freezer!
