Homemade Peanut Butter Protein Bars

These homemade peanut butter protein bars are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and oh so delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter natural
  • cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup protein powder of choice
  • non-dairy milk to thin
  • ¼ cup non-dairy chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Mix in the protein powder. Add optional milk to this if the mixture is too crumbly. Press the dough into the prepared pan. Top with chocolate chips.
  4. Let the bars firm up in the fridge for a bit before slicing and enjoying!
