Gluten-free & Dairy-free Chocolate Protein Donuts

These chocolate protein donuts are gluten-free, dairy-free, simple to make, and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup cacao powder unsweetened
  • ½ cup vegan protein powder You can use either vanilla or chocolate!
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ cup nondairy milk
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar can sub regular sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil melted
For the Fudge Frosting:
  • ¼ cup nondairy chocolate chips
  • ½ tablespoon vegan butter
  • optional sprinkles!

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together all ingredients until well combined. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared donut pan and bake for 15-17 minutes.
  3. Let cool while you melt together the frosting ingredients. Dip each donut in the frosting, top with optional sprinkles, and enjoy!
