Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix together all crust/crumble ingredients until you have a dough. Press ⅔ of the dough into the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes.
While the dough is baking, begin making the filling. Add apples and water to a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat until the apples start to soften. Add in the rest of the ingredients and continue to cook for about 5-10 minutes or until you have a thick apple pie filling texture.
Remove crust from the oven and add the apple pie filling evenly over top. Crumble the remaining ⅓ of dough evenly across the top of the filling and return to oven to bake for 18-20 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool before slicing and enjoying!
