Method
- Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the chocolate pastry dough ingredients until you have a dough.
- Split the dough in half and roll one half onto the parchment paper to create a rectangle. Melt together your chocolate filling ingredients until smooth. Add ⅔ of this mixture onto this piece of dough and spread evenly.
- Roll out the other half of the dough into the same rectangle shape and place it on top of the filling. Pinch together the edges using a fork.
- Bake the pop tart for about 17-19 minutes and let cool.
- Melt together the leftover chocolate filling with the additional chocolate chips to make the topping. Spread this over the pop tart and enjoy!
