Peanut Butter Protein Apple Slices

These peanut butter protein apple slices are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and oh so delicious!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 apples
  • ½ cup peanut butter smooth, natural
  • ¼ cup vanilla protein powder of choice
  • cup honey sub maple syrup for vegan
  • cup non-dairy chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Wash your apples and begin slicing into round slices. Using a knife or a small cookie cutter, cut a small circle out of the center of each apple round.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and protein powder until smooth.
  4. Begin spreading the peanut butter mixture evenly onto the apple round. Lay flat on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the apple rounds. Let set in the fridge before enjoying!
