- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a food processor or blender, add your soaked dates and tahini. Blend. Add your hot water as needed until the mixture is smooth and sticky. Mix in the cacao powder until fully combined. This batter will be sticky!
- Begin rolling the mixture into balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Set in the freezer to set for about 20 minutes.
- While the bites are freezing, melt together the chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth. Begin dipping the frozen bites into the chocolate until fully coated. Sprinkle with sea salt and let harden. Enjoy!
