- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup brown sugar can sub coconut sugar
- ½ cup gluten-free sourdough discard
- 2 tablespoon avocado oil
- ¼ cup non-dairy milk
- splash of vanilla extract
- ⅔ cup blueberries tossed in gluten-free flour to prevent them from sinking when baking
Optional Icing:
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- water to thin
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease 8 donut molds.
- In a bowl, combine all wet ingredients until smooth. Mix in the dry ingredients until you have a smooth batter.
- Fold in the blueberries. Alternatively, you can add the blueberries while filling the donut molds with batter if you want them more evenly dispersed.
