This sourdough strawberry banana bread is simply the most delicious loaf! I love the combination of strawberry and banana, it's just too good. I wanted to use up some of my gluten-free sourdough discard and thought this was the perfect way! This loaf is gluten-free, dairy-free, simple to make, and oh so tasty!

- avocado oil
- brown sugar or coconut sugar
- gluten-free flour
- baking powder & baking soda
- vanilla extract
- eggs
- optional non-dairy chocolate chips

Gluten-free & Dairy-free Sourdough Strawberry Banana Bread
This sourdough strawberry banana bread is gluten-free, dairy-free, simple to make, and delicious!
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas mashed
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup gluten-free sourdough discard
- ½ cup avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup brown sugar can sub coconut sugar
- 2 cup gluten-free flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- ½ cup diced strawberries
- ⅓ cup non-dairy chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the bananas, eggs, avocado oil, vanilla extract, sugar, and sourdough discard until smooth.
- Mix in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until well combined. Fold in the strawberries and chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and cover with tin foil before returning to the oven for another 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely before slicing and enjoying!
