It's no secret I have the BIGGEST sweet tooth ever...so, I am always on the hunt for new paleo desserts that I can make to satisfy that sweet tooth! These donuts do just the trick. They're made with all the clean ingredients that keep my body functioning at its best but also taste so dang good. I have another pumpkin donut hole recipe, but I wanted to create a paleo version for you all! These are paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and so tasty!
Ingredients
Here are the ingredients you'll need:
- pumpkin puree
- coconut oil
- coconut sugar
- almond flour
- eggs
- tapioca flour
- vanilla extract
- pumpkin pie spice
- cinnamon
- baking soda
- almond milk
- optional powdered sugar

Paleo Pumpkin Donuts with a Cinnamon Glaze
These paleo pumpkin donuts are paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, simple to make, and absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
For the Donuts:
- 2 Eggs can sub flax eggs for vegan!
- ¼ Cup Coconut oil melted
- ⅔ Cup Coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 Cup Pumpkin puree
- 2 Cup Almond flour
- ¼ Cup Tapioca flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 ½ tsp Pumpkin pie spice
- 2 teaspoon Cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- 1-2 tablespoon Almond milk or any non dairy milk
- 1-1 ¼ Cup Powdered sugar use a paleo friendly blend for paleo!
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon Ghee
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a donut pan with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, mix the wet ingredients until well combined and then slowly incorporate the dry ingredients.
- Once everything is mixed, fill the donut pan until each donut is about ¾ of the way full and bake for about 17-20 min or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool while you mix the cinnamon glaze ingredients. Add more/less powdered sugar and milk until you get a consistency of your liking.
- Once the donuts have cooled, top them with the glaze and whatever additional toppings you like (I added a sprinkle of cinnamon and some coconut on some)! Enjoy!

I love these! Made them to take to a friend’s house for dessert, and they were a hit. I modified to go w/o icing and added dairy-free chocolate chips to the batter. These were taste-tested by 3 neurodivergent kiddos, and they all approved! Mamas know what a win that is 😍 I made an extra batch just for myself when we came home, haha. So good!
