I'm pretty sure we all agree that Reese's shapes (especially the eggs) are better than a normal Reese's...they just are! Reese's peanut butter cups were my favorite candy growing up and something I genuinely miss since embarking on my health journey. I have had this recipe for a few years now and it never fails me! I use cashew butter to keep them paleo, but if you can have peanuts, then I highly recommend using peanut butter in this recipe. These are vegan, paleo (if using cashew butter), gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, high protein, and so delicious!
Ingredients
Here are the ingredients you'll need:
- nut butter of choice
- maple syrup
- vanilla protein powder
- non-dairy chocolate chips
- coconut oil
See recipe card for quantities.

Hi Sami, can you leave out the protein powder if you do not have any on hand? Or will that affect the recipe consistency?! Any substitutions if it’s needed? Thanks in advance! 🙂
Lana
I’m wondering the same thing! Excited to try these:).

Hi Lana! You can definitely use almond flour or coconut flour in place of the protein powder, however, you will need to add it slowly and adjust the amount until you get a texture you enjoy!:)
