These peanut butter brookie bars are the perfect combination of peanut butter cookie and brownie. I am a peanut butter lover through and through and these are gooey goodness. These peanut butter brookie bars are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and absolutely delicious!

This was inspired by my paleo and vegan brookie bars. I love to pair these with a batch of my soft sugar cookies and peanut butter date truffles.
Ingredients
Here are the ingredients you'll need:
- smooth, natural peanut butter
- ground flaxseed
- maple syrup
- coconut oil
- non-dairy chocolate chips
- almond flour
- cacao powder

Vegan & Gluten-free Peanut Butter Brookie Bars
These peanut butter brookie bars are vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 350℉ and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix together the brownie base ingredients until you have a smooth batter. Spread this into the prepared pan.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter cookie dough ingredients. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread this peanut butter cookie dough on top of the brownie layer and bake for about 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing and enjoying!

Can I use chia seeds instead of flaxseed?
I wonder also of you use fan /regular oven when you bake?
