I tried to take all of the delicious flavor of a brown sugar cinnamon pop tart and put it into a granola...and I think it turned out pretty delicious, if you ask me! Brown sugar cinnamon Pop Tarts were always my favorite growing up, so I thought why not make it into a granola form? This is a simple and healthy granola recipe that is gluten-free, dairy-free, easy to make, and so yummy!
Ingredients
Here are the ingredients you'll need:
- gluten-free oats
- coconut oil
- maple syrup
- cinnamon
- brown sugar or coconut sugar
- almond flour
- coconut flour

Brown Sugar Cinnamon Granola
This homemade granola is gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and oh so delicious!
Ingredients
For the granola:
- 3 cup gluten-free oats
- ¼ cup coconut oil melted
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoon brown sugar can sub coconut sugar
For the pastry "pop tart" pieces:
- 6 tablespoon almond flour
- 1 tablespoon coconut flour
- 4 teaspoon coconut oil melted
- 4 teaspoon water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325℉ and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together all of the ingredients for the granola (except for the brown sugar) until well combined. Spread this granola mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the pastry dough ingredients until you have a dough.
- Begin crumbling this pastry dough evenly over top of the granola mixture on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over top of everything.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, remove from oven and toss the granola around to make sure no parts are burning, and return to oven for another 10-15 minutes. Let cool before breaking apart and enjoying!
