This banana bread loaf might just be my new favorite! I made half the batter regular and have the batter chocolate, and together it's perfection. This chocolate marble banana bread is paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, simple to make, and so delicious!

This was inspired by my paleo cinnamon roll banana bread.

    Ingredients Method

    Ingredients

    • 2 ripe bananas mashed
    • 2 eggs
    • ¼ cup coconut oil melted
    • ⅓ cup maple syrup
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 cup almond flour

    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 2 tablespoon cacao powder

    Method

    1. Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
    2. In a bowl, combine the bananas, coconut oil, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth. Mix in the almond flour, baking soda, baking powder, and tapioca flour until smooth.
    3. Divide the batter in half. In half of the batter, add the cacao powder until smooth.
    4. Begin putting scoops of each of the batters randomly into the prepared pan until all of the batter is in the pan. Use a knife to swirl the batters together a bit. Bake for about 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
