Paleo Strawberry Donut Holes
These strawberry donut holes are paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, and taste absolutely delicious!
Ingredients
For the donut holes:
- ½ cup almond flour
- 1 egg
- 4 ½ tablespoon coconut flour
- ¼ cup tapioca flour
- ¼ cup coconut oil melted
- 2 tablespoon honey can sub maple syrup
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- splash of vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
- ⅓ cup diced strawberries
For the glaze (this is not paleo!):
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 teaspoon water
For a paleo glaze:
- ¼ cup coconut butter melted
- 3 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, combine the donut hole ingredients until you have a dough.
- Dice the strawberries and pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Fold the strawberries into the dough.
- Let the dough sit for 10 min. to allow the coconut flour to soak up moisture. Scoop and roll the dough into about 12-15 donut holes and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the donut holes for about 8-10 min., or until they are turning golden brown. Let them cool completely before adding the glaze.
- Mix up the glaze and dip each donut hole in the glaze. Enjoy!

Sounds amazing! Can you Sub almond or coconut flour for tapioca flour if you don’t have/can’t find? Thx!

These were really good. I used a flax egg because I can not have eggs and they turned out great. I had strawberries I needed to use up and this was an interesting idea I had not thought of. I did add an extra strawberry to batch and extra honey.
I cant wait to try your chocolate donuts!
