- cacao powder

Paleo & Vegan Samoa Brownies
These samoa brownies are paleo, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, simple to make, and delicious!
Ingredients
For the brownie base:
- ¼ cup coconut oil melted
- ½ cup almond butter
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- 2 flax eggs mix 2 tablespoon flaxseed with 6 tablespoon water and let sit
- ½ cup cacao powder unsweetened
- splash of vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- ¼ cup almond flour
For the samoa topping:
- ½ cup almond butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 cup shredded coconut unsweetened
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together all brownie ingredients until well combined. Press the brownie dough into the prepared pan and bake to 15-17 min. or until it seems set. Let cool while you make the samoa topping.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the samoa topping ingredients until well combined. Spread this over the brownie base and place in the freezer to set for about 1 hour. Slice and enjoy!
