    These peanut butter brownies are fudgy, gooey, and oh so delicious! If you're like me and love the chocolate peanut butter combo, you are going to love these. They are made with super simple ingredients while being vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and so tasty!

    I love making these for every occasion - everyone always loves them. I like to pair them with a batch of my paleo chocolate chip cookies or tahini truffles!

    Ingredients

    Here are the ingredients you'll need:

    • natural peanut butter
    • cacao powder
    • ground flaxseed
    • maple syrup
    • coconut sugar
    • baking powder
    • coconut oil
    • almond flour

    Store in the fridge or freezer!

    Top tip

    I actually love keeping these in the freezer and letting them thaw for about 10 minutes before enjoying!

    FAQ

    If I can't have peanut butter, can I use another nut or seed butter?

    Yes, you can use any nut or seed butter in this recipe.

    Can I use a flour other than almond?

    I have only tried this recipe using the ingredients mentioned, so I can't guarantee it will work, but I would suggest cassava or oat flour as a substitute.

    Ingredients Method

    Ingredients
      

    • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
    • ½ cup peanut butter smooth, natural
    • ½ cup coconut sugar can sub brown sugar
    • ¼ cup almond flour
    • 2 flax eggs 2 tablespoon ground flaxseed mixed with 6 tablespoon water
    • ½ cup cacao powder
    • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
    For the Peanut Butter Swirl:
    • ½ cup peanut butter smooth, natural
    • ½ tablespoon maple syrup

    Method
     

    1. Preheat oven to 350℉ and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
    2. In a bowl, mix together all of the brownie ingredients until smooth. Spread this evenly into the prepared pan.
    3. In a separate bowl, mix together the peanut butter filling. Spread this evenly over top of the brownie layer and bake for about 15 minutes. Let cool before slicing and enjoying!
