    Vegan & Paleo Fudgy Date Truffles

    These date truffles are fudgy HEAVEN! I have been loving making desserts with dates recently and these are a new favorite. These truffles are paleo, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, no-bake, and absolutely delicious!

    Ingredients

    Here are the ingredients you'll need:

    • dates
    • nut or seed butter
    • unsweetened cacao powder
    • non-dairy chocolate chips
    • coconut oil

    Store in the fridge or freezer!

    Paleo & Vegan Fudgy Date Truffles

    These fudgy date truffles are paleo, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and so delicious!

    Ingredients Method

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 cup dates soaked in hot water for about 10 minutes
    • 2 tablespoon nut or seed butter I used peanut butter!
    • splash of hot water
    • ⅓ cup + 1 tablespoon cacao powder unsweetened
    • ½ cup non-dairy chocolate chips
    • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

    Method
     

    1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
    2. In a food processor, blend your dates, hot water, and nut butter until smooth. Mix in the cacao powder. The dough will be sticky!
    3. Begin rolling this dough into balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Place in freezer for about 30 minutes.
    4. In a bowl, melt together the chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth. Dip the frozen date balls into the chocolate until completely coated and let harden before enjoying!
