    Cook Time 10 minutes mins
    Servings: 12 donut holes
    Course: Donut
    Cuisine: American
    Ingredients Method

    Ingredients

    • ⅓ cup almond flour
    • 3 tablespoon cacao powder unsweetened
    • ¼ cup tapioca flour
    • 4 ½ tablespoon coconut flour
    • 1 egg
    • 2 tablespoon honey
    • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
    • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
    • ¼ cup coconut oil melted
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • pinch of salt
    Fo the glaze (not paleo):
    • ½ cup powdered sugar
    • water to thin
    For a paleo glaze:
    • ½ cup coconut butter melted
    • 2-3 tablespoon maple syrup

    Method

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. In a bowl, mix together all of the donut hole ingredients until you have a dough. Let the dough sit for about 10 min. so that the coconut flour can absorb moisture.
    3. Roll the dough into donut holes and place onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for about 6-7 min. Let cool.
    4. Mix together your glaze of choice and coat each donut hole. Let harden and enjoy!

I am very impressed by how you have been able to display so many ideas. I am vegan. So many persons think that being plant based that a person is limited in what they can eat. Of course, that is not true. Must keep an open mind and be flexible. The ideas will come!!! Thanks for your contribution to eating plant based.

My husband is allergic to almonds; what would you recommend for an almond flour substitute? He would love these!

I love these! They are always a quick, fun, nourishing treat. So fluffy and truly remind me of a good store bought donut hole.
